Benjamin Zander -- Shining Eyes

The title of the Shining Eyes Blog was inspired by Benjamin Zander and his TED Talk Video: Classical music with shining eyes.

The snippet that specifically defines the concept of shining eyes is found at 17:20min to 18:31min in the 20:44min video. The whole video is well worth watching.

Watch for our next post, Media Literacy Event, coming later today…

Hey – great job, gang. You have been putting up great stuff. I shared the video on Media Literacy with my class today (I love the Star Wars submission too, Roz) and I will be telling them about this podcast as well! Keep up the great work!

I see shining eyes when my students grasp the power of using digital technology to open new doors and possibilities in their teaching!

      Hi Mike,

Thank you for leaving a comment and sharing your shining eyes story!

That is neat that you showed your class the media literacy video. (Andy M. did an amazing job on it and we are extremely grateful to him and thankful.)

I hope some of your students decide to create a response or work with their students to create a response if they have started “student teaching”. (I’m not sure if that is the right phrase anymore.) That would be cool if they did respond and participated in the event on Nov. 2!

Hope that you will be able to join us as well.

      All the best to you!
